In the last week, our population has doubled, and will nearly double again in the next month. Frank has returned home from his travels, refreshed and excited for the new season. Jake and Anna, having skipped a few winters, are back for the season. We have a new resident, Johnno, who has picked up the “specimen capture department,” and we’re expecting Nathan to make his transition from “visiting contributor” to “resident” any time now (with Marty in tow.) As the weather in the rest of the country turns snowy, folks are headed home to the desert sooner than usual.
Caddy and I are home from Burning Man, and the art piece we collaborated on, The Last Outpost, is being prepped for permanent installation here. You can check out photos of it at this Flickr stream.
Kevissimo and some other Gigsvillians will also be retiring another large sculpture here; expect an über-erection festival soon! We hung out with Gary and Greg at VW camp, got visited by Chris and Mary, Scott, and Gary at our camp, and were camped next to Chandra. We saw giant art, big ass fires, and came back excited and inspired.
We’re getting ready for our “start of the season” party, Dia De Los Muertos. It’s the weekend after Halloween, and we look forward to seeing you there:

Meanwhile, we’re making good thing, doing big fun, getting more laid, and continue to rise and infect. Hopefully, we’ll see you out here this season!
